The Courage to Make Mistakes

A newly married woman faintly moaned at her husband, “You‘re so lucky, what you possess is my pure love, what you enjoy is my first love. I‘ve never fallen in love before, so I hope you treasure my purity.”

The husband wisely consoled his bride and said, “You‘re truly blessed, what you‘ve is my mature love, what you enjoy is my final love. If I‘ve never fallen in love before, how can I be so mature now. I hope you treasure my maturity.”

To find true love first time, to appear on the list after taking the joint admission examination first time, to make profits in business first time, to believe in a principle after listening first time, to be able to drive after the first lesson, to achieve a pass by writing a thesis first time, to master a subject after being taught first time, Genius!  Genius?

Sorry, your life is in lack of some seasoning: You have never experienced the happiness in progress, nor the joy of growth.

To miss the target in archery, to spell words wrongly, a slip of the tongue when speaking, to make a wrong turn whilst walking, to fail in love, all these are just ordinary things!

Sometimes, warriors can be frightened, wise men can be stupid, specialists can be embarrassed, debaters can be tongue tied, this is how it's meant to be!

There is no need to severely criticise someone when they make a mistake, as this is really normal. There is no need to be angry with yourself when discovering your own mistakes, as this is how it's meant to be.

Winners treat their own mistakes as ‘the best teacher’.  It is important to learn valuable lessons from the mistakes made. Therefore, do not be afraid of making mistakes. There is one type of people who never make mistakes:  they are those who never make efforts to attempt.

Those who never make mistakes do not achieve much. 
People make mistakes, but only fools will repeatedly make the same mistakes.
Perhaps the biggest mistake in life is: Unwillingness to try for fear of making mistakes.

Thomas Edison failed before. He made 1000 mistakes by using 1000 types of unsuitable materials to make light bulb filaments. One reporter asked him, “What do you feel after the failure of 1000 times?”  This determined inventor replied, “The light bulb is the successful result of the 1001th trial.”

Winners are not afraid of making mistakes, but what they are most afraid of is not having the courage to try again after making mistakes.
